Here's Gimme relaxing after the "ordeal" at the vet's office.
Actually it wasn't nearly as bad as before. The staff let me run the show and followed my directions. Gimme licked peanut butter for almost the whole thing.
She didn't even notice the first needle stick. The second one she definitely noticed and stopped licking, but didn't struggle. Not relaxed, but accepting - which was what I hoped to achieve.
GOOD GIRL GIMME!

May 5 - Gimme
We were at Pawsabilities this morning for RallyFrEe practice and emphasized focus.
Gimme loves her special bowl, as evidenced by a tail that wags too fast to be more than a blur.
May 4 - Gimme

This was actually a hard shot to get, since I had to move my left arm out of the way, which moved my left shoulder back. Gimme takes the shoulder shift as her cue we are pivoting backward.

May 2 - Gimme
Gimme is learning being on your back pays, even if you don't like it. This was her third time and when I took away the peanut butter go toob she continued laying there, licked her leg and then looked at me as if to say, "More please."
I have no illusions she'll ever like it or be completely relaxed, but I do think she can learn its safe and she gets paid well for tolerating this aberration.
